On
behalf of the Filipino - American Association of Greater Roseville,
I want to thank Bona Valerio and her outgoing
officers for their hard work
and dedication to the association. This past two years has seen many activities
and events successfully completed.
As the new President of our association, I want to welcome the incoming officers
to their new positions. We will continue to adhere to the ideals and objectives on which the association
was founded. We are a family oriented organization and as such we will continue to: participate in cultural functions,
be involved in community events, and raise funds to enable our participation in charitable causes.
Our organization continues to grow larger and stronger
with each passing year. Our association is beginning to establish name recognition among the Filipino communities
in the Sacramento area. This recognition comes as the result of many hours of hard work involving both
the officers and members of the association.
I challenge each of
you as new officers to meet new people, make new friends and become more involved in the community. I ask that
each of you participate and provide support for the association throughout the coming years.
Mabuhay
sa inyong lahat!
Zenaida
Wayman, President
Filipino-American Association of
Greater Roseville
