CHRISTMAS
CAROLING 2006 - submitted by Jojo Lazaro
Every December since
1991, the FAAGR has kept the tradition of bringing Christmas cheers to residences and businesses as well as various care
homes in Roseville and vicinity. FAAGR members started rehearsing as early as October for the 2006 Caroling.
Each year, new music is added to the repertoire and for 2006, we added the heartwarming 'Grown Up Christmas List' by David
Foster and Linda Thompson Jenner and a jazz version of 'We Wish You A Merry Christmas' for the caroling finale.
The
annual Caroling is one of FAAGR's fundraising activities. The 2006 Caroling raised $2960. Beneficiaries include
the Gawad Kalinga project in the Philippines and homeless folks in Roseville.
The Caroling is open
to all members of the association. Watch out for the announcement sometime in August for the 2007 Caroling.
